The Education Department at KQED provides free resources to teachers and students that advance media literacy skills and civic engagement and that amplify youth voice. We produce the award-winning video series Above the Noise, the youth media site KQED Learn, and KQED Teach, which provides professional development courses for educators, among other services. We also support teachers and students in youth media production projects, through media challenges and KQED’s Youth Takeover.
The Production Intern for KQED Education will collaborate with the Education team to produce digital educational media to support our department’s work in instructional design, youth media production, and community engagement via social media.
A detail-oriented, self-driven person, the Production Intern will be responsible, along with the production team, for successfully supporting the production, distribution, and organization of the Education team’s media assets on time and budget to fulfill project objectives.
